Jay Jam Apparel
FAQ
What is a rebus shirt?
Four drawn panels that spell out a phrase by sound rather than by letter. An ant, an eye, a needle and thread, a shell reads as “antisocial”. No text on the shirt, so people have to work it out. That is the fun.
What shirts do you print on?
Bella+Canvas 3001 unisex jersey tees, sizes S through 2XL, in White, Black, Athletic Heather and Heather Navy. Full measurements are on the size guide.
How is it printed?
Direct to garment, in the United States. The ink goes into the fabric rather than sitting on top of it as a plastic layer, so it stays soft and does not crack. Wash it cold and inside out and it will outlast the joke.
How long does it take to get here?
About a week to ten days. Two weeks in December. Details on the shipping page.
Is shipping really free?
Inside the US, yes, on every order with no minimum. We do not ship internationally yet.
Something is wrong with my shirt.
Email us within 30 days with your order number and a photo and we replace it or refund it, your pick, and you keep the bad one. Full policy on the shipping and returns page.
Can I return it if it does not fit?
Not for a refund, since it was printed for your order specifically, but we will get you the right size at cost. Measure a shirt you already own against the size guide before you order and this almost never comes up.
Do you take custom orders?
Not one-offs right now. But if you send a phrase that should exist, there is a real chance it ends up in the shop. Several already have.
How often do new designs drop?
Weekly, usually more. Holidays get their own batch about six weeks ahead so there is time to actually order one.
Who is behind this?
One person in Austin, Texas. The whole story is on the about page.
