What is a rebus shirt?
Four drawn panels that spell out a phrase by sound rather than by letter. An ant, an eye, a needle and thread, a shell reads as “antisocial”. No text on the shirt, so people have to work it out. That is the fun.
What shirts do you print on?
Eight cuts: a Gildan Softstyle unisex tee, a Gildan Softstyle women’s tee, a crop top, a flowy muscle tank, a flowy racerback tank, a spaghetti strap tank, a Gildan crewneck sweatshirt and a cropped fleece hoodie. Sizes and colors depend on the cut. The unisex tee, women’s tee, crewneck, crop top and muscle tank run S to 2XL; the spaghetti strap tank runs XS to 2XL; the racerback tank runs XS to L; the cropped hoodie comes in S, L, XL and 2XL. Holiday designs come in two colors, everyday designs in three to five. Each product page lists exactly what that shirt comes in, and the size guide has measurements for every cut.
How is it printed?
Direct to garment, in the United States. The ink goes into the fabric rather than sitting on top of it as a plastic layer, so it stays soft and does not crack. Wash it cold and inside out and it will outlast the joke.
How long does it take to get here?
About a week to ten days. Two weeks in December. Details on the shipping page.
Is shipping really free?
Inside the US, yes, on orders over $35. Under $35 it is a flat $3.99. We do not ship internationally yet.
Something is wrong with my shirt.
Email us within 30 days with your order number and a photo. We replace it free, or if you want a refund instead we send a return label and refund in full once the shirt is back with us. Full policy on the shipping and returns page.
Can I return it if it does not fit?
We cannot refund a shirt that came in the size you ordered, but we will print the right size and charge you only what the reprint costs us, with no markup. Email us and we will sort it out. Measure a shirt you already own against the size guide before you order and this almost never comes up.
Do you take custom orders?
Not one-offs right now. But if you send a phrase that should exist, there is a real chance it ends up in the shop. Several already have.
How often do new designs drop?
Weekly, usually more. Holidays get their own batch about six weeks ahead so there is time to actually order one.
