Jay Jam Apparel makes shirts worth a second look.

Some are a line worth wearing, like Cold Pizza Is A Valid Breakfast Choice. Some are puzzles you have to solve. All of them are built to get a reaction out of whoever is standing behind you in line.

The puzzle shirts

The rebus tees are the ones worth showing off. Four hand-drawn panels in an old woodcut style, and together they spell out a phrase. No text, no hints. You either get it or the person next to you gets it and tells you, which is the whole point.

Every panel is drawn from scratch in a vintage engraving style, one ink color, tapered linework and cross-hatched shading. It takes a lot longer than dropping clip art in a grid. That is why nobody else is doing it.
